With the slogan, ‘Arts, Culture and Edutainment’, New Style Radio Objectives are:
– To keep the community informed of civic matters
– To give people of the African & Caribbean diaspora a voice
– Entertaining the community with a variety of music, particularly black music of the genre Reggae, Dancehall, Soul & R’n’B, Hip Hop, Soca, Calypso, Zouk, Jazz, Latin, African, Gospel and World Sounds
– Providing an outlet and platform for local artists
– To encourage listeners to interact and be part of the station
– To engage school children, students, young people, and others in training program making and presentation
– To promote and support creative events and activities in Birmingham and surrounding areas
